Laundry Woes

Oh gosh, oh gee,

Will I ever see,

The bottom 

    Of my hamper?

 

I wash and scrub,

And dry and fold.

It’s the saddest story

    Ever told.

 

And just when I think

I’m getting there—

Down the chute comes

    Another pair!

Oh gosh, oh gee,

I will never see,

The bottom

 

    Of my hamper.
