An announcement to my readers.

On my 'About Us' page, I announced a book project that has been in the works for quite some time.

I am thrilled that progress has been made, and I hope to announce the release soon. The road from there to here has been longer than I imagined. Because this is my debut novel, I wanted to ensure it was done right and a finished product I could be proud of.

The cover has been completed, and final edits are nearing completion. My author’s website has been created but has not been launched. When this happens, I’ll be sure to let you know.

A little about the book:

Miss Virginia and the Sweet Sisters © is a sensitive, honest, and raw account of life for a mixed-race girl growing up in the late 60s south. Intraracial bigotry is nothing new, but it is rarely addressed among the Black community. In this story, we experience this up close and personal, applauding a young girl’s courage and growth as she goes through terrifying events, coming out on the other side stronger and better for it, mimicking the social changes of the time. She is the harbinger of change, and therein lies her triumph.

I am very excited about this project. I hope you are as excited as I am to read my first published novel. Stay tuned for further developments.
