Life Without
Friends
Where would we be without friends?
Those unsung keepers of our secrets and dreams.
Those fierce
warriors who protect our virtue,
Ensuring the worst is not as bad as it seems?
Where would we be
without the friends we have?
Those kindred spirits, much like our own.
Those restless
companions who push us toward,
Being the best person they’ve come to know?
The supporters of
our wishes,
The comforters of our fears,
Their timeless
visages are always there,
When we need them near.
Where would we be without friends, you see?
Those timekeepers of
our shared laughter.
Those sages of wisdom and speakers of
truth,
Listeners to wishes for our ever-after’s.
Where would we be
without them?
Those friends we cherish most,
Those friends who
call out our faults,
With honest and wonderful boasts!
Those dependable, loyal, and faithful…
Friends.
