Socialism? - What are we thinking?
Are we ready for socialism? Are we ready for nationalism? Are we ready for authoritarianism? What are we ready for? Are we done with the progress afforded us by our capitalist ideology? What will our nation look like, if we adopt any of these other ideologies? There are many questions, worries and fears, and rightly so, if history is any barometer.
The man who coined the phrase 'the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.', was Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our 32nd President. Well, I found this article in Politico and thought to share it so you can see what FDR felt about the topic of Socialism. And although it was published in 2019, it is still relevant today.
