Halloween is here, and I’m excited to share my favorite two-sentence horror stories. I posted this about three years ago. Has it been that long!? Any way, I thought to resurrect these from the dead and share them again. You can find many of them online, but for me, these few are what keep me up at night. (My own is at the end) So as you travel door to door for a trick or a treat. Be careful to travel safely. Enjoy!
“I begin
tucking him into bed, and he tells me, “Daddy, check for monsters under my bed.”
I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed,
staring back at me, quivering and whispering, “Daddy, there’s somebody on my
bed.”
“A girl
heard her mom yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started to head
down. As she got to the stairs, her mom pulled her into her room and said, “I
heard that, too.”
“I woke
up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I
heard it come from the mirror again.”
“There
was a picture in my phone of me sleeping. I live alone.”
“The
last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock at the door.”
“I just
saw my reflection blink.”
“My kids were excited to tell me about the day they just had with their mother. My eyes watered as I pondered how to tell them she died early that morning on the way to work.”
My own two sentences:
“I hear whispering in my
ear from my husband, who died long ago. Appearing in front of me, he asks whose
whispers are those.”
BOO!!!!
