An allegory of how to adapt to change.
Meet "Sniff" and "Scurry", "Hem" and "Haw". Living in a maze, they thought they had it all, until someone moved their cheese.
What to do?
In these days of overwhelming change, I thought to recommend this self help book, written as a work of fiction. Who Moved My Cheese gives life lessons on how to cope with change, adapt to change, accept change and find your way through change, among other things. Change is hard to accept, but accept we must. Who Moved My Cheese has been lauded by industry professionals and used for understanding workplace dynamics as it approaches change. It also has life lessons for us to apply in our private lives. Of course the book has been parodied, but by in large, it is informational and worth the time.
Entertaining and fun, it promotes thinking outside the box or maze, if you will, in order to make change easier to swallow.
